No. If you’re good you can get close enough not to need binoculars.
You confused me with the two unrelated questions.
I do have bad night vision and I bought “melonstealing goggles” that is infrared to see even in total darkness.
Own 2 pair and the trick to good night vision is to not use a flashlight
My vision sucks…
I went blind back in 2002 and got back about 65% of it later that same year. My night vision is terrible and I’ve since invested in a coal miners lamp so I can get around and drive at night.
