IR emitters… not LEDs… you won’t see them lighting up at night… some do still emit a little visible visible dot, but i’m not sure why…

i want to build one and i have a cheap cell phone that has camera built in, can i use it instead of a digital camera? and I dont know how to wire all the IR led’s can you reply please?

Can i just pull out what is infront of a remote control and use it as Ir lights? Are those IR anyway?
