night vision goggles? value/sell price?

I was given some military grade night vision goggles to put in a yard sale or on ebay, but I have no clue about what these are worth. by looking up the model no. (an/pvs-7b), I found that they are apparently a really well made product and might be worth quite a bit. But with gen I, gen II, etc., where can I find out what generation? The warranty stamp says expires in 1994, so I assume the goggles are from the early 90’s.
a) is this something I can legally sell or is there some hidden thing I don’t know
b) what would you say the value is?
