Getting your business or career to the next level involves three steps: aligning your purpose, restoring balance, and leveraging the power of intention. Aligning your work with your intended purpose is key to long-term success. If your work is not aligned with your purpose, you may achieve short-term success along the way. However, this success will always come at a cost (e.g. health, family, ….). Understanding your purpose can be difficult, but once you find it – it will seem obvious. There are some specific approaches to finding your purpose: Being open to all opportunities and possibilities; Asking yourself what you love to do, that you lose track of time doing; and, Figuring out how to use your unique talents to serve others. You must avoid the temptation of jumping to the planning steps until you have identified your purpose. It can be difficult to properly focus on identifying your purpose, especially if you are caught up in daily survival. If this is the case for you, then it might be helpful to move to step two – restoring balance.Gone are the days when “workaholism” is considered to be good or positive. If you think about those whose lives are almost entirely made up of work, they are most always mid-level managers. They are people who seemed defined by their position – rather than people who are fulfilling their purpose. However, if you think about people who are extraordinarily successful, they have balance in their lives. They exercise, donate their time and money, have hobbies, enjoy entertainment, and value friends and family. Start by setting boundaries. Don’t make a big deal about it – it will not help to get labeled as not being a team player. Maybe, quietly discuss the need for some balance with your boss – but be realistic. Connect with family and friends. Connect with nature – there is an amazing organizing force in nature if you pay attention. Get a hobby or interest outside of work. You cannot be great – even at your purpose – without some balance. Finally, the last step is to leverage the power of intention. While entire books have been written on this subject, this really is the easiest part. Once you have identified your purpose and have achieved some balance, placing your intention on the outcome happens with ease. In this step, you start by holding a vision in your head of being what you want. Then, you need to make a plan that will get you to that vision. Your plan should be based on a daily calendar – with the first day being a review of your purpose and the last day being a review of what you accomplished toward achieving your purpose. Every morning, every night before going to sleep, and several times throughout the day, you should focus on your vision of you fulfilling your purpose. With your purpose identified, your life in balance, and your mind focused on that which you desire, you will achieve success.

American are being shot by Iraqi snipers, and Americans only act retroactively.
Why arent our snipers undercover seeking their snipers?
All it takes is thermal imaging/night vision goggles, and setting up a perimeter farther out. Snipers are obvious even to the untrained eye.

And dont try to tell me Americans are too obvious. Delta Force and Navy SEALS are highly trained to operate as foreign subjects, including fluency. See: Richard Marcinko, ‘Rogue Warrior’ in which a small group of SEALS were able to pass themselves as locals in Beirut, even obtaining information sought after by US intelligence for months.

And to those who think sniping is cowardice, I suggest a refresher course on American military tactics 1776-1783 particularly, ‘Battle of Lexington and Concord’.

So why are we unable to adapt, and place our snipers in position to snipe them? Is our military really so top heavy with approvals and permissions and decision making channels?

Any sports fan would tell you that its better to watch a game live than watching on even the largest most expensive high definition big-screen TV set. In spectator events like sports games there is nothing better than the real thing. The problem is not everybody can afford floor seats or seats closest to the action. Almost everyone would have to settle for seats on the nosebleed aisles where even if the stress and excitement in the bunch is infectious the sports action is going to be a little too tricky to see. This is where a handy pair of sports binoculars comes in. Action acute water-proof binoculars are little items that permit folk to see further than what there exposed eyes can allow them to. These contraptions are made from high power lenses that one can focus according to the zoom level he or she wishes to see. Having a pair handy can ensure that you see precisely what happens when it occurs. Having a couple wide angle binoculars also helps remove some tension on your eyes. Naturally if you are seated a long way from what you are trying to observe there’ll be a strong tendency for one to strain their eyes by causing to see beyond its limits. Constant strain on the eyes can cause some optical issues so binoculars for sport really are good eye health tools on top of being a luxury item.Sports binoculars these days cost significantly cheaper than when they first came out into the market. Depending on the materials used and zoom capabilities binoculars can range between 65$ – 300$. People can use them when they travel to get a closer look at sights, or folk can bring them to the park to do some bird watching. Sports binoculars can be employed in a selection of ways, essentially anytime you want a better look at an object from a distance. There are different makes or models available for you to make a choice from. These include intense water-resistant binoculars, Porro prism binocular, night vision binoculars, 7×50 sports & marine view @ 1000 yards, black SLR electronic camera with SLR electronic camera and many others. Maintaining sports binoculars is a pretty straightforward task too. Most come with their own straps that may prevent loss. Some come in protecting surroundings directed at keeping the lens away from nothing causing elements. There are also special cleaning solutions one can buy to keep their binoculars clean and in tip top shape.
